Positive aspects of playing with friends

    Why social interaction is important

When it comes to social interaction between kids, nowadays most neglect that opportunity. They would much rather sit inside, playing games on media devices or watching tv instead of going out to play with others. Making kids, no matter the age, go out and have social interaction with others is very important to not only their physical health but also their mental health.

While growing up, kids learn many skills and basic life necessities just by being around and learning from other kids. These social interactions can lead to the development of social skills. This includes anything from learning to read people such as social cues or even things such as communication skills. The skills that they develop can also lead to friendships that can be made.

Social skills that are learned from a young age are carried on and used throughout ones whole life. Reading people is often a hard skill to master, but the earlier you get introduced to the idea of looking at people and being able to act and react upon their feelings, the easier it gets throughout life. Learning to empathize for people when it is appropriate is a major life skill that most people take a while to do.

Learning a lot of these skills from others at a young age allow people to use these skills daily for the rest of their lives. Properly communicating with others is a lacked skills in many people during this day and age. Communicating goes and in hand with being able to deal with others. Being able to share not only thoughts with others but also physical items is a skill that children should be taught at a young age. Even the idea of being apart of a team can greatly influence children at younger ages. Learning to work with others will help a tremendous amount even just when they are in school. Doing things such as school project with people or working together on a sports team can be learned by getting children out at young ages and getting them to interact with other children.

Getting out and learning the skills from others allows for not only better life skills as you grow older but also gives you happiness that allows you to continue to live and happy and prosperous life.
